About us
Pocket Power exists to help empower the people who need it most by maximising their income and putting money back in their pockets.
We set up in 2020 and now work with 20 partners (mostly Housing Associations, with a collective reach of 700,000 households) who contract with us annually to offer our service to their residents, with a 100% retention in partners since our inception.
Our Social Mission
Pocket Power was created to tackle the Poverty Premium, the injustice in today’s society that the people who have the least pay the most, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty and further entrenches the gap between rich and poor – recent research shows the average yearly poverty premium for a low income family is £444.
We are a passionate about helping. In today’s society, the greatest form of empowerment you can give someone is to put money back in their pockets, which is why we do what we do.
