What we provide
The stresses of life and work can be a lot to handle sometimes. Stress, anxiety and depression are increasingly common in today's society, affecting 1 in 6 people in the UK each week. As an employer, it is more important than ever to help support your employees' physical and financial well-being and emotional well-being. By providing the right tools and resources through an employee assistance programme (EAP), you can help create a happier and more engaged workforce. Yoga and fitness support for your staff If you are Edinburgh based and feel your employees would benefit from attending Projekt 42's fitness and yoga classes.
In that case, we can provide a 12-week activities pass that includes access to up to 35 hours per week of online and outdoor activities. Online and face-to-face mental health support Projekt 42 can support your staff to access online and face-to-face counselling.
The Employee Assistance Programme provides counselling sessions for your staff. A simple self-referral programme Employees are able to access the support available at Projekt 42 through a simple self-referral form. The form to access counselling is available online at: www.projekt42.co.uk/EAP 6-weeks of support Each employee will be offered six weeks of counselling support paid for by you, the employer. Extra support At any time, you are able to extend the support you are able to offer your employees and can choose to extend the counselling provision or can extend the fitness and yoga pass beyond the initial 12-weeks.

Sectors we’ve worked in
About us
Projekt 42 is the UK’s first wellness centre to combine personal training, group fitness, yoga and mental health services – all in one membership subscription. We make booking to see a Person Centred Counsellor, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or Psychotherapist as easy as booking a fitness class. Our aim is to help communities see and understand the connection between their physical fitness and their mental health and the need to take care of both.
We are different to most commercial gyms. We have no shareholders and we employ a circular revenue system where up to 40% of the membership fee that people pay to access our services goes towards paying for community members to access free and part-funded counselling, free monthly memberships and community programs.
Our Social Mission
We use the profit that would ordinarily go to private shareholders to do the following:
Deliver over 150 hours of fitness, yoga and meditation classes each week. Everyday there are a number of free activities from fitness to yoga, and class prices starting from £1.50
Work towards reducing the barriers families face when accessing physical fitness and mental health activities by delivering family activities, allowing children to participate in classes and having an on-site crèche staffed by a childcare practitioner
Have a team of 80+ counsellors, psychotherapists and Cognitive Behavioural Therapists working alongside our fitness and yoga team. We provide funded counselling sessions to anyone who applies via our self-referral application form. For the most vulnerable people in our community, access to our counselling service is free and for those that can contribute, our subsidised price per session starts at £25.00.
Provide support and funding for people to train towards completing fitness industry qualifications and support towards gaining employment
